JESSE STORY: Hidden feelings

[STORY blurb] “She promised to go to the movies with me.” Jesse stopped walking upon hearing Taiga’s voice. The girl whom Taiga was talking about, Jesse knew, was a girl from their class. Someone who he would jokingly quarrel with all the time…That pretty much summed up Jesse’s relationship with her. And yet, upon hearing that she had seemingly agreed to go on a date with Taiga, Jesse felt disturbed. Even as he told himself, “this has nothing to do with me”, he couldn’t help but be a little curious of what the girl felt. He was returning home from school feeling depressed, when suddenly, she appeared right in front of him…

notes: this is my first time doing rough translation like this. I believe this is so far from the word good but at least I’ve try my best. Please correct me if there’s something wrong, I would be very happy.  I won’t do the full translation, here’s just translation of some part of the talk part which I able to understand. The boys were talking about the school life since Jinguji Yuta and Nakamura Reia who will enter High School soon.

Kishi: of course I would be the number one among the class
Jinguji: no! no! that should be me, right?
Reia: eh? isn’t that me? seriously guys
Genki: why you guys were like “me! me!” (laughs)

Genki: okay then who would be the mood maker on the class?
Jinguji: of course Kishi-kun, right?
Reia: he’s talk too much, right? (laughs)
Kishi: then it’s not that I could be the one!
Reia: then can you learn to be the one?
Kishi: yes, me!
Jinguji: (for Kishi & Reia) oi! that was not connected (note: not sure with this part, what is “ツッコむ”?)
Genki: then who’s gonna be the one who’s popular among girls?
Kishi: ME!

Kishi: … I’ll go! (note: or smth like he’s feel annoyed XD)

Kishi: no, no. it must be Jinguji
Jinguji: it’s not like that! it must be Kishi-kun

Kishi: Reia is type who would be alone at the class and likes to drawing

Jinguji: the one who would be a good athlete (good at PE) must be Iwahashi, right? he’s good at baseball
Kishi: no, I’m good at baseball too
Jinguji: okay then you two will be a rival
Reia: hey hey how’s my character (cutie reia’s being ignored)
Genki: what about character that good in study, smth like that?
Reia: okay okay ♪
